We’re launching this new action center with a special request: Our dearly departed co-founder, the legendary whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg, fought his whole life to reform the Espionage Act — the pernicious law that allows the government to jail journalists’ sources without a fair trial.
This week, Rep. Rashida Tlaib is introducing a landmark reform bill, the Daniel Ellsberg Press Freedom & Whistleblower Protection Act, to do exactly that.
