PRESS RELEASE
Leading pay-what-you-want service launches new bundle in support of Charlie Hebdo
San Francisco, Calif. - January 22, 2015 - Following recent tragic events in France, Humble Bundle is doing its part to honor Charlie Hebdo by partnering with a number of French game developers as well as noted author, Cory Doctorow, who are coming together in a united show of support for the victims.
Humble Weekly Bundle: Je Suis Charlie supports the Freedom of the Press Foundation. With typical Humble Bundles, customers can choose how their purchase dollars are allocated -- between the developer/publisher and charity. However, in this instance, 100% of the bundle's proceeds will go towards FPF and neither Humble Bundle nor participating developers are taking a cut.

Customers can name their price for Type:Rider, Finding Teddy, and Little Big Adventure.
Customers who donate $6 or more will receive all of the above plus FarSky, Strike Vector and the audiobook Homeland by Cory Doctorow.
"The answer to bad speech is more speech," said author Cory Doctorow. "Whether you're an extremist murdering your ideological opponents or a grandstanding elected politician who jails people who say things you disagree with, your deeds are an admission that you don't believe that your arguments are convincing enough to win your opponents over, so they have to be swept off the board."
“The tragic attack on the cartoonists at Charlie Hebdo was an attack on press freedom itself, and we’re proud to defend journalists across the world who refuse to bend their rights in the face of danger," said Trevor Timm, executive director of Freedom of the Press Foundation. “We're deeply grateful to the Humble community for showing their support for press freedom. We’ll be using these generous donations to the fight for brave journalists everywhere, so that their right to publish is preserved no matter the threat.”
The Humble Weekly Bundle: Je Suis Charlie runs from now until Thursday, January 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. Pacific time.
