Allie Rose

Allie is the engineering manager, infrastructure, at Freedom of the Press Foundation (FPF). She leads the team responsible for the security and reliability of FPF’s core systems and services. Her path to infrastructure wound through animation pipelines, payment systems, and enterprise software across a range of industries, work that kept coming back to the same question: How do you build software that people can actually rely on? She first came to FPF as a volunteer on the SecureDrop team and never really left, growing from full-time engineer to tech lead before eventually moving into engineering management.
