How independent and international news orgs are circumventing censorship in Russia
Russia is one of the most repressive countries in the world for journalists.
Russia has murdered, disappeared, jailed, and repressed journalists in horrifying numbers. It routinely criminalizes reporting and labels journalists as terrorists or foreign agents. As a result, large numbers of Russian journalists must now live and work in exile, and in fear for their lives. Russia must be held accountable for its repression of journalists and press freedom.
