This Saturday and Sunday, we will be holding simultaneous hackathons in both Boston and San Francisco to improve SecureDrop, our open-source whistleblower submission system.
If you live in San Francisco, the SecureDrop hackathon will be co-hosted by ThoughtWorks and will be held at their office in downtown San Francisco. Lunch will be provided by ThoughtWorks on both days. You can visit here for more information.
If you live in Boston, the hackathon will be held at MIT, which we are co-hosting with the MIT Student Information Processing Board and MIT Undergrad Women in Physics. Go here for more information and RSVP by emailing Yan Zhu at [email protected].

Developers of all skill levels are encouraged to come out and participate, as there will be plenty to do not matter your expertise. Longtime SecureDrop developers will be there to answer any questions and help guide the participants. Python, Javascript, or Linux system administration experience is helpful, but there will be things to do for any developer, or even non-developer.
We hope to see you there.
