Emma Flannery is a spring 2024 editorial intern for the U.S. Press Freedom Tracker. She is currently a junior at the University of Missouri, majoring in journalism with an emphasis in writing and reporting. A multifaceted reporter and storyteller, her work includes reporting on unhoused communities, local government and politics, higher education and culture. She has previously been published in the Columbia Missourian, Kansas City magazine and Modern Luxury.
