Evan Summers

Evan is a senior digital security trainer at Freedom of the Press Foundation. Passionate about leveraging experiential learning and gamification to help at-risk audiences connect with critical digital security concepts, Evan supports the digital security team’s efforts to enhance journalists’ safety through training and resource development. Prior to joining FPF, Evan led digital security programming at the National Democratic Institute, conducting risk assessments and delivering innovative security training to civic organizations in closed and closing societies around the world.
