Ryan Rice

Ryan is a development coordinator for Freedom of the Press Foundation. A key member of the fundraising team, they coordinate all aspects of the membership program; events, newsletters, mailings, and gifts to supporters. They work to broaden FPF's base, and then make that support a two-way street. Combining an academic background in political science with the practical education of social justice movement building, Ryan has worked previously in rights for the unhoused, foreclosure defense, and nuclear disarmament. They are thrilled to have found a way to help whistleblowers, journalists, and free press advocates with their current work.
